Love walking and sitting along the waterfront area between Praça do Commercio and Cais do Sodre. Sitting there, taking in the big open sky and 25 de Abril bridge it’s easy to forget there’s a whole city behind you.⁣ 🌉 ⁣ (Fun fact: Though many people think it looks a lot like the Golden Gate Bridge, the 25 de Abril was designed by the peeps who designed San Francisco’s other bridge – the Bay Bridge.)

Weekends are for wandering with these two 💕 Hitting up the Principe Real organic market this morning, followed by coffee (and cinnamon rolls 😋) at nearby @cphcoffeelab.

A recent post from @dustyboydesigns reminded me that I’ve never posted about Portugal’s wonderful priority system! If you’re elderly, have a disability, are pregnant or with a baby you jump to the top of the queue, it’s the law. It’s in action *everywhere*, from coffee shops and supermarkets to buses and trains and even places like H&M and Zara. It’s incredible! Everything moves much quicker overall and it’s so kind and considerate. ✈️ It also makes travelling through Lisbon airport with littles an absolute breeze, as there are fast track priority lanes the whole way through. It means you’re not a harried mess, trying to rush through collapsing a pram and removing your shoes while your baby fusses and you hold people up. Everyone wins 🙌
